Pronghorn recognizes the importance of environmental protection and the necessity of promoting high standards of environmental stewardship in the electrical and instrumentation field. We are committed to the industry code of practice for environmental protection developed by the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) which states:

INDIGENOUS RELATIONS

Pronghorn recognizes that building a workforce which is diverse and inclusive will strengthen our corporate culture and reflect the values of our stakeholders. We are committed to building mutually beneficial relationships and having a business environment which is inclusive and reflects the diversity of the communities that we live in and the areas where we conduct our business activities.
Our local involvement (content) plan will support our clients’ goals to maximize the contracting and employment participation rates of local businesses and residents. Pronghorn Controls is committed to exercise reasonable commercial efforts to implement its commitments to our clients in the implementation of its local involvement plan. Pronghorn will develop a local involvement plan in collaboration with our clients with defined targets and milestones for training, employment and subcontracting. Our clients’ local content goals and objectives are aligned with Pronghorns’ core values. Pronghorn is willing to:
• Collaborate with our clients to review Indigenous and local stakeholder expectations; and
• Work closely with all stakeholders to develop sustainable strategies to facilitate local stakeholder benefits are achieved for our clients’ work activities.
Pronghorn will conduct Indigenous cultural awareness and sensitivity training for its management and site supervision personnel to build a culture of inclusion and diversity and to enhance the retention rate of Indigenous people.

All things being equal, materials will be purchased from materials suppliers who support local and Indigenous training and development initiatives. Pronghorn will encourage other suppliers to participate in the program.

Pronghorn is committed to contribute and give back to the communities in which we work and live.

Pronghorn is committed to corporate social responsibility and has a long history of giving back to the communities where we live and conduct business.  We continuously evaluate opportunities to be involved;  either through financial support of charities such as Movember or involvement in volunteer activities such as coaching, serving on community boards or service such as volunteer firefighters.
