Pronghorn Receives PIR Rebate
Pronghorn Controls was eligible for a Partnerships in Injury Reduction (PIR) rebate from Alberta WCB. This rebate is distributed to employers in good standing who achieve a certificate of recognition (COR) and maintain industry leadership by performing significantly better than their industry average over two consecutive years. Pronghorn Controls has a strong safety culture which has resulted in reduced WCB premiums – and the PIR rebate will be reinvested into continual improvements to safety programs.

Cenovus Health & Safety Stewardship Award
Pronghorn Controls received a Cenovus Health & Safety Stewardship Award for outstanding performance and for continuously keeping safety as a first thought when conducting contract work. This award comes with a $1,000 donation to a charity or not-for-profit to be selected by Pronghorn Controls. Pronghorn Controls has selected Movember as the charity to receive the $1,000 donation. Pronghorn’s annual campaign supporting Movember has evolved from grass roots support which started at Christina Lake in 2011.

Recordable Incident Free
As of February 4, 2016, Pronghorn Controls has posted 12 months “Recordable Incident Free”. Employees at Pronghorn Controls have worked for a whole year with no lost time incidents, medical aids or serious injuries!
