ABSA
As
part of the evolution of our business related to instrumentation tubing,
Pronghorn now has a Quality Management System (QMS) in place and is certified
by ABSA, the pressure equipment safety authority in Alberta. The
QMS was developed to meet the requirements of ABSA’s directive for the safe
construction, repair, and alteration of the instrumentation tubing and piping
that we work with on a regular basis. The QMS requires Pronghorn to
follow prescribed QA/QC functions and document the steps of tubing work that
falls within the definitions of the Safety Codes Act of Alberta. While
the QA/QC documentation requirements are new and provide assurance that all
installations meet the engineering and design specifications, the actual tubing
work is the same.
